November and December!

Ok, blog time.  I realized that it is cool looking back to year ago and seeing how much Jaden has changed and all the life that has happened in our family this year! I get excited about blogging and get dedicated to updating, and then it quickly fades to the background with all the other fun and crazy things happening around us!

So 2015 what a crazy year! We have added to our family by one and started growing another one!  By the end of this year we will be a family of 4!  Kyle and Jaden both want a dog, but I don't know if we are ready to be a family 5 just yet....family of 4 snuck up on us!

The end of October and November was a fun month!! We went to Lolly and Granddads, I attended my 10 year reunion, Jaden went to his first Texas Tech football tailgate.  We celebrated Halloween with Ali and Caroline. We officially stopped breastfeeding and started drinking real milk, and Jaden became mobile all within a 2 week span.

We also went to Thanksgiving in Texas. We started out going to the science museum with Jaden's cousins, Ali and Caroline, Went to Startford for Thanksgiving and drove through a snow storm! We also go to celebrate Jaden's birthday with my family! We had so much fun!

December, I gained a little one year old!  Why was that emotional? Maybe because I'm pregnant, maybe because my baby is now a toddler!  Probably a combo.   I love my little one year old!  We had a "Tailgate Party" theme for his first birthday!  We had hot dogs and played cornhorn!  It was awesome to see the little boys from our small group, love and take care of Jaden!

We had a football pinate at the party that my co-worker stuffed with pink candy for our gender reveal!  We are having a little GIRL!!

Things I want to remember:

Jaden is a little man! He eats everything put in front of him and his portion sizes are larger than mine!  He knows how to do the sign language for "more" and he seems to be constantly asking for more food. This seems as though it will be a lifetime of "more" and our food budget is only going to go up from here! The only thing we have found that he does not like is broccoli.  I sent broccoli to school with him and the daycare lady told me he kept trying to give it to the kids around him and steal their food...like there was a chance for a trade or deal to be made.

He is 25lbs and wearing 18month clothing.  He finally sleeps through the night consistently!  We started a routine of bath, milk, book, and bed every night. And it is amazing that as we are reading the last book he rushes through it, quickly flips to the back page and points to his crib...little genius...if only bedtime could be this easy for the rest of his life!  His favorite toys are the remote control, sunglasses and the vacuum cleaner...why did we buy him birthday toys again?  His aunts got him a wagon and a water table for his birthday which will come in great handy when baby sister arrives!
