1. He accomplished a lot of first this month when we travelled to Pennsylvania for my best friends wedding!! First time on a plane, tractor and train! He even rode on a 4wheeler and golf cart! He loved the golf cart, so I think we will be ready for golfing with lolly next month! He did so good traveling, he fell asleep at take off and woke up as we were pulling up to the cabin, and his journey back was the same! The times that he wasn't asleep he was entertaining the passengers around us!!
3. He is a very strong and tough little guy. Since he has learned to sit up on his own, he still has the occational tumble. He has hit the tile a few times and just shakes it off and sits back up like it never happened. He had his first trip to the ER a few weeks ago because he was vomitting so much he got dehydrated. After he got his IV which I was tramatized from, he just slept in my arms for the next 24 hours. I got the same stomach bug from him and I complained and whined for 24 hours, I thought, dang that kid is tougher than me! We have accidently bumped his head, feet and shoulders against things and he just smiles at us. What a gracious little guy to his parent's mistakes! In the ER getting cuddles from dad.
4. For the summer he goes to daycare 3 days a week and to Gram's house the other 2! They have so many adventures and I get daily updates to get me through work! Gram has a swimming pool, and it has been 112 around here, so next week we are going to try swimming for the first time!
5. We have started solid food! We have been making our food in our vitamix, the jury is still out on wether we like sweet potatoes or not, which is the first food outside of cereal we have tried! Next on the menu is avocados and carrots! He started eating oatmeal really well, so we at least know that if all else fails we can feed him oatmeal the rest of his life!! He is also interested in drinking whatever drink is in our hands, so if you are not careful he will grab it from you and on occasion it has landed all over me!
