8, 9, 10 Months

So this momma has dropped the ball in the last 3 months! Where to even begin on this growing active boy!  Let's start with 8 month highlight reel:

8 Months

We went to TEXAS! My best friends from college get together for a yearly reunion and this year Jaden got to tag along.  Our crew is growing at a rapid rate with 3 babies in the group and 4 more on the way.  Soon we will be out numbered on adults to babies.  After our reunion, Kyle flew to Texas and we spent the week golfing and swimming with Lolly and hanging with Jaden's Aunt's, Uncle, and Cousins! Also, Jaden decided being still was no longer an option and one day got up and starting crawling.  We have been on the go ever since.

9 Months

Month 9 was a crazy month for us, we had a mover and a teether, so I think we all slept about 10 hours total for the whole month.  Jaden now has 2 bottom teeth, but eats solids like his whole mouth is full of teeth.  I've seen him gum a huge piece of chicken all the way to mush.  He currently eats what we eat and most of the time takes in handful of food, two hands at a time. I think he is making up for all the picky eating we experienced the first 3 months of his life.  Jaden started pulling up on everything and his bravery has gotten the best of him from time to time.  He has taken a few pretty good falls, but learned quickly how to get his feet under him before trying to run to the next object. Football season also started this month and he has spent many saturdays wondering what has gotten into his mom.  Being a Tech fan is stressful and I have yelled at the TV and paced the floor in anticipation for the next play too many times this season. Jaden will learn soon enough.  Also, this month I started a new job.  I now work in the school district so it has been nice getting off work at 3 and still having time to take Jaden to the park.  I now have the perks of working the school schedule, so I'll be able to get Christmas, Spring Break and Summer off....paid vacation...that's not a bad gig!

10 Months

Month 10 was a game changer for the David Family.  This month we found out that we are going from a family of 3 to a family of 4!! SURPRISE for all of us!  So April 25th is the due date for baby #2! Jaden has been taking his new big brother status in strides.  This month he slept through the night FINALLY!  We have been enjoying the fall weather by going to the park and watching football every weekend!

7 months old

One month older, one month wiser!! Jaden has had an adventurous summer from swimming, camping, fishing and traveling to the other side of the states and back! He has slowly started getting the hang of eating solids and has even began holding his own bottle. The growing up has to stop, every day he threatens to start crawling by getting up on all 4s and rocking with all he's got as though to will himself forward! Any day now we will be baby proofing our house. Just in the 7 months he has been around, I can tell we are going to need lots of bandaids for our brave and adventurous guy! Something's I want to remember about this month:

1. His first time in a swimming pool! we lathered him with sunscreen, got him a hat that at the right angle covers him from head to toe, and had him in a full body sun protection suit. This kid was ready to take on anything the sun wanted to throw at him. We had more fun than he did watching his sun shield battle the sun. And his super hat was hilarious!

2. His first 4th of July and camping trip!! He got fully in the spirit with rock star glasses and 4th of July outfits for everyday. His aunt Jacee got him the coolest camping chair, so we sat it up by the fire with the rest of us as we ate s'mores! 

We had a great time camping in a cabin that overlooked the lake and mountains surrounded us!

Kyle, Bob and Ryan fished about 8 hours a day, up at 6am, fished through the pouring rain and only came out with 2 fish total!! Let's just say, I went out on the boat once with them, threw my rod out the first time and caught a fish right a way!! I call that winning at fishing!! 

We took Jaden out on the boat and it was hilarious because his life jacket swallowed him. 

We had fun hanging out, eating and taking naps! Karen took Jaden one morning and I got to sleep in!

On 4th of July, our friends from YWAM England came and spent the rest of the camping trip with us and then drove back with us and stayed at our house for a few days! They cooked us meals and had great conversation every night!!

Another big milestone is he is sitting up like a champ, he rode in the shopping cart with out his baby carrier!!
